Grocery store unwritten rules

If OP puts the "divider" down after loading his order onto the belt he is good to go. ;)

based on another thread where I have seen "singlefather", I get this feeling....:stir:

Yup, I was thinking exactly the same thing.

I can't imagine anyone seriously taking something they wanted out of someone else's cart....only a troll would do that. ;)

No, but I have thought about PUTTING something in an unattended partially filled shopping cart. Something odd, like a Home Pregnancy Test Kit, or a bottle of Whiskey ( or both ) in a little old ladies cart. ;)

Hahahhahahah

I think an unattended cart might be fair game. I have seen people leave carts in a store due to a fight with their SO, or they left their wallet. I have seen people put stuff back in another part of a store before.

I have parked my cart outside of the bathroom to take my daughter potty, then come out and it was gone....I think someone assumed it was abandoned and put it all away.

Um no I don't put my fingers in other people's carts. But I do look in other people's carts especially in the check out line because I will always forget to put something on my list or i will see something in someone's cart and go dang that looks good and leave the line.

And people with common sense-even though it appears common sense is a thing of the past-usually ask an employee where something is, or even another customer, just sayin.....

at least once a month I will be shopping and someone will come up to me and ask me if I know where such and such is. I am not wearing any sort of uniform to make them think I work there. I do know the store pretty well and if I don't know I will say I don't know but ask an employee.

TV guy,you don't shop where many little old ladies shop,or otherwise you'd see that the whiskey was already in the cart!(and the gin, vodka, boxed wine, etc.)

You guys aren't really buying (tee hee) into this bull are you? Oh, well if it makes everyone feel good to react to fiction, who am I to stop you. Have fun with it.

Yes, with 53 posts. :rolleyes1

You aren't really going to eat the hoisin sauce now are you? You've tainted it with bad Karma for stealing. :duck:

;)

That was the problem. Usually a store will have a sign for international, asian, mexican or something. This is a Publix undergoing a renovation and nothing is where it should be!

Nothing worse that trying to shop in a grocery store undergoing renovation. :headache: When they did ours, things were moved here and there from one day to the next. It drove me crazy.

What a coincidence! I often look for unattended SingleFather carts & throw a bunch of extra stuff in so they have a surprise when they get home. ;)

I have a friend that routinely will toss a box of condoms in the basket of someone in the store that has a child that is not behaving in the store!

Tonight I watched two ladies probably in their 50's fighting over a full cart each saying it was theirs .many people on line was laughing guess because of the snow people were crazy but couldn't believe they were fighting over groceries .wish I stayed around to see what happened but the snow was getting bad .

Did they have plenty of Milk and Bread? I always wonder if that is to fatten up the kittehs and the birds for sustenance when the food supplies run low.
