Grocery Store Open Thanksgiving Evening?

What (if any) local grocery store will be open Thanksgiving evening? We arrive into MCO at 5:55 and would like to stop for some groceries on the way to the hotel.

You may not have much luck since the ones that will be open that day will likely be closed before you land. They seem to be closing at 3 or 4 if open at all.

I think Publix and Target have announced Stores Closed on Thanksgiving. I think WalMart is Closed too.
I’m going to keep checking cause I need to know too for daughters family arriving for WDW trip and moving from Universal to Riviera and needing groceries. At least I live here so can stock up on basics but planned to wait for half n half and bread and fruit. I was thinking a Stop at gas station but that could be slim pickings too. Even the small grocery items usually offered in the DVC gift shops seem to not have much selection.

Usually, a CVS or Walgreens is open I'm not sure where one would be.

There is a Walgreens on S Kirkman across the street from the Portofino. Works if your looking for basic stuff.

We're arriving on Christmas day and will have the same problem. I'm hoping CVS or Walgreens will be open just to grab basics (we're renting a townhouse), like cereal, milk, toilet paper.

Just use Instacart or one of the other grocery delivery services. They will probably be running.

You can use Walgreens website to bring up a specific location. The Walgreens on S Kirkman, near PBH, says its open 24 hours every day.

On Thanksgiving Day or Xmas Day? I guess they would get really good tips.
I am trying to think about a restaurant that might be open to get enough to have leftovers. Like Olive Garden with big salad and extra breadsticks and fettuccine and spaghetti & meatballs. At least 2 meals.
Chuys Mexican would be good for a variety. If they are open!
Oh wait Chinese Restaurants are always open! I think. Traditional New Years Eve every year!

Local here,

Publix, Whole Foods, and Trader Joes, all will be closed...

You might have luck at Wal-mart or Target Super Center... Not sure what time that they will open, Normally they open back up around 6:00 to 8:00 not sure this year... As well there will be Black Friday shopping going on..

You might want to bring somethings with you... breakfast bars, cereal, snacks, - you can always get milk for cereal at the resort, then venture out the next day if you need more substantial groceries..

Walgreens or CVS... one or two might be opened... You would have to figure that out before hand. I think that the big Walgreen on I-drive will be open, I say this as some friends came down on Thanksgiving day, and found it opened, and got bottled water, soda, coffee, creamer, milk, juice boxes for the kids, and varied snacks.. before they check into CBR...

Walmart announced on July 21, 2020, that all stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.
