Grocery Store/coffee Windsor Hills

HI All,
We will be staying at Windsor Hills next week..yay! Planning on running into a grocery store to get a few items. Where is the closest grocery store?? and is there anywhere to stop in the am on the way to the parks to get a cup of coffee?? Looking for a WAWA or 7-11 or the like.

When you make the right on 192, next light down, but on the left hand side, there is a 7-11. The little store in Windsor Hills sells coffee now, too. I'm sure there's probably other places, too.

There is a Publix on 192 just before the 429 toll road. From Windsor Hills, take Old Lake Wilson road to 192, turn left on 192 and you will see the publix on your right about a mile down.

There is also a Super Target across the street from Publix.

Hi Kathy,

Windsor Hills in less than a week... I am GREEN with envy! But my turn will come in Nov. We love that resort! There is a small plaza as you turn into Old Lake Wilson Rd, and I think there is a Wynn-Dixie there.

My advice would be to just stock your kitchen with your favorite coffee, bagels, and fixings, and take them with you. We all looked forward to escaping from the kitchen during our last vacation but it didn't take us 24 hrs to catch on to how much time (not to mention $$) we saved by having breakfast there and packing drinks & snacks to go. You can even purchase good quality paper cups with lids if carrying travel mugs does not appeal to you.

That said, I could not resist getting a cup of the nice coffee sold at the little stand at the TTC on our MK days! But, I can drink a lot of coffee in a day. Have a fabulous trip!

Everyone's replies are right. We've done WH about 5 times, and are doing WP in a couple of weeks.

For bagels and coffee, there's a dunkin donuts in a plaza on 192. There's a 'back way' to get there off of N. Old Lake Wilson drive to a service road. It would be easiest, though, to go to 192 and take a left - the dunkin donuts will be on the left less than 1/4 mile ahead. I think it's in the same plaza as the souvenir shop with the big wizzard figure on top (you'll know exactly what I'm talking about when you see it).

I did a google search for Dunkin Donuts and the one they show on 192 appears to be in the wrong location. That is, I think, the map is showing the location a little east of where I think it actually is...

Thanks everyone for the helpful information. Gosh, coffee really is important on vacation!! Especially a dunkin donuts Glad to hear there is one near by...I didn't realize they had a little stand at MK transportation place to get coffee...good to know!
