Grocery Stop..Explanation???

Can someone explain the whole Grocery Stop and which company offers this and the price?

We are considering renting a car for just the first 2 days or so to get some groceries (water, snacks, cereal, etc) for the room (staying at POFQ in Aug. 21-28). But would it be better and cheaper to do this?

What is the cost? What company and contact information?
How long do you have at the store?

Just about all of the Town car companies offer this. With most of them there is no additional charge, but you ONLY get 30 minutes.

One correction....with Tiffany you get a 20 minute stop. It USED to be 30, but it is now 20. The driver will give you an aisle-by-aisle list of what is where at the Publix-Williamsburg. DD and I flew thru there and it was exactly 20 minutes. Maybe the drivers are getting tired of waiting for lengthy shoppers??? Not sure about the other companies, just TTC.

I have also seen a company in Orlando that deliveries groceries to you at your hotel. You fax or email your order to them with a date and time of delivery and they delivery it with in 15 minutes of your order time. The company is WeGoShop.com

I remember reading somewhere (maybe mousesavers.com?) that one of the grocery stores will accept your faxed order and have it ready to pick up. I'm kind of fuzzy on the details, I know, but I believe that it was Albertsons that does this.

Maybe someone else can help clarify this....

Yes, it is Albertsons, and the fax number is right there on the Happy Limo website. Notably, Happy Limo recommends that you fax the order in the night before, and it'll be ready when the Limo pulls up for your grocery stop. Notable, Happy Limo only gives you a 15 minute grocery stop. But then again, after faxing in order a day ahead, all you need to do when you get there is sign the credit card receipt, get the groceries into the Limo and go (they are all packed and ready to go). Maybe a few extra minutes to collect the few things you forgot on your initial order, but you'll be out of there in under 15 mins.
