I can't find what post I saw this in but I would swear that I saw someone say that they called in their grocery order and it was ready for them. I would love to do this as we will be arriving very late (around midnight) and then will be driving to Port Canaveral.

So, Which stores would do this?

How late are they open?

Which Limo services would accomodate a specific stop?

:headache: (There I was thinking that I need a headache smiley and voila there is one. The DIS has everything doesn't it? Does it do dishes?)

I believe you can fax an order into Albertsons, and they pack it and have it ready for you when you arrive. All you have to do is show them the original credit card you gave them and sign the slip, and you're off.

Also, if you don't mind a $10 delivery charge and somewhat higher prices, you can set up an order on Goodings' online site and have them deliver it to your resort.

I saw this posted before and asked Happy Limo about it a couple of trips ago. They said that it can indeed be done, although we didn't try it ourselves. The store has to be Albertsons.

Thanks everyone! With such a late arrival I know we won't feel like shopping and it will be nice to have it all done ahead of time.::yes::

We used Happy Limo and Albertson's.

I faxed my order with name, pick-up date and pick-up time. When we arrived at the airport, the Happy Limo driver called the customer service desk to confirm our arrival. Everything was in a shopping cart at Customer Service when I got there. I just paid the total. I wasn't even in there two minutes.

The Albertson's info is as follows:

Customer Service Desk
12981 South Orange Blossom Trail
Albertson's Phone (407) 857-5666
Alberston's Fax (407) 857-0132

Hi, does any one know how long it takes to get your luggage and arrive at Albertson's? I would like to fax an order but would like an idea of what time we will arrive at the store.

I hate to be the bearer of sad tidings, but the Albertsons on Orange Blossom Tr. and the one on Curry Ford Rd. are not 24-hr stores. OBT closes at 1 am, and Curry Ford closes at midnight. If you are headed for the port on the Bee Line, Curry Ford Road would be the logical stop, but they won't be any help to you after midnight.

You might want to think about carrying your snacks with you in your luggage and picking up drinks at a Circle-K.

Are there any other suggestions? I really don't want to pack my luggage with snacks. Additionally, the resort we are spending the day before our cruise at has a kitchen. It only has one restaurant that is very expensive and no other restaurants within walking distance. We will want more than snacks ~ we will actually want real food!

Thanks Ursala, I promise not to shoot the messenger.

For anyone that has used the stop with Cartier, does the Kash n' Karry also accept phone/fax orders?

I know some of the Kash n' Karry's are closing, I hope the one Cartier stops at is not closed!

Thanks.
