Grocery stop: beer/wine?

We've got a grocery stop included in our transfer from Orlando airport to the port-- anyone know whether grocery stores in Florida also sell beer/wine/liquor? Just wondering what to bring from home and what to plan to pick up there. (We can buy beer/wine in our grocery stores here but not liquor-- that's at state-owned stores only!)

Grocery stores sell beer and wine. Albertsons have separate liquor stores attached in some locations. Many Walgreen's also have liquor stores, and ABC Liquors are in many plazas and strip malls... depending on where your grocery stop is, you should be all set.

Are there any restrictions in Florida (or locally in Orlando or at Port Canaveral area) on the sale of beer/wine/liquor on Sundays?

I believe Sat. are fine but not on Sundays...so if you're doing a 4-day and plan to arrive the day the ship leaves (which is Sun.) you won't find any liquor or beer for sale. Keep that in mind when preparing for your trip.

just to be safe.....

if hiring a towncar, double check with your driver that he will stop. We hired Tiffany Towncar and our driver didn't want to stop for "drinks" because it "wasn't in his paperwork" even though I called twice to confirm everything including the grocery stop. (don't want to start a slam on T.T. there are threads for that)
