Grocery Service

Has anyone made a comparison of prices to the groceries you can pre-order and have in your room upon arrival and prices at the grocery store? I was just looking at the grocery order list on the new member website and since I'm Canadian, I have no idea how these prices compare to the grocery stores there. If it is just a bit higher than the stores it would be a great service. If it is way higher I guess it would be worth stopping ourselves on the way in.

I guess it all depends.

How big is your party, and how long will you be staying?

If you're only going to pick up $20 or so, the pre-order is quite convenient, but yes, the prices are higher than most Orlando grocery stores.

If you're going to spend much more than that, I think it's worth the stop at the Publix, Albertson's or Winn-Dixie. JMHO.

I like to use Albertson's, it gives you the best of both worlds....lower prices and no shopping.

How much do they charge at Albertson's for this service and how far ahead of tme do you have to fax them your list?

You should fax 3-8 days in advance. I usually call and confirm the day before out of paranoia. I don't believe there was any fee last time.

Do they deliver?? I will be going to MH on the 24th with my 13 yo and 3 mo old. I want to buy diapers and formula ETC and have it delivered to hotel (I couldn't get in to a DVC property) so I don't have to lug it all by myself. we're traveling from Californai. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!!!
