Grocery order on DVCMember.com ???

I was just curious if anyone has done their grocery order this way? Can the stuff be delivered when you're not in the room or do you need to be there? Will they put cold stuff away if they come and you're not there? How does it work? TIA!

Prices are a tad high and choice is limited. I think that most of us use off site providers. We have used GardenGrocer and Goodings. There is also WeGoShop. Try searching on the names and you will find all kinds of info.

Are Garden Grocer happy to deliver to WDW if you have not yet arrived? Our flight lands late afternoon and by the time we get to SSR it could be gone 7pm.

They will deliver to the resort and the Bell Desk will hold your groceries. They refrigerate your cold items. When you check in have the Bellman move your luggage and groceries to your room.

All good advice about the outside shopping services. But to answer your original question, you do not need to be in your room for the deliery if you order directly from Disney. They will even put away the perishables in your refrigerator.
