Grocery online order for pickup or delivery

Can you recommend a grocery store in the area that I can order ahead from and either arrange for pickup or delivery when we arrive? We mainly want to get stuff for breakfast for the week.

Our flight is due into MCO at 7:30PM on a Saturday night and we are staying at Emerald Island Resort in May. Thanks!

Target, Publix, Aldis and Walmart are all located fairly close by. We use Walmart pick up all of the time! You place your order online and tell them what time you want to pick it up. When you pull in, they bring it right out to your car. It will definitely be the least expensive option for pickup. I know alot of people are picky about someone else choosing their meat and vegetables for them but I have never gotten anything I was unsatisfied with from them! If you join Shipt there is a yearly fee but you might be able to use it where you live as well.

Arriving @ MCO @ 730pm and staying at Emerald Island so I assume you are renting a car. Personally, I would make a list for pickup at Walmart and schedule the pickup for 9pm. By the time you get the luggage, car and drive to Walmart, it will be around that time. You won't have to get out really. Pick up on the way to the resort. Have fun !!!

I've been waffling between Instacart for a Publix delivery and PrimeNow for our upcoming trip, but I think I'm leaning toward Walmart pickup now. We'd like to include some wine and beer in our order, so PrimeNow doesn't work for that. With Instacart we'd have to be sure we could meet the driver so we could show ID...which makes me feel like I'd just rather drive the 10-15 minutes to be able to do it on my own schedule rather than waiting around for the delivery driver's call...and save a good $50-100 as well!

So with that said, do you guys want to help me overthink this? We arrive on a Sunday, flight is scheduled to get in at 4:20pm. Rental car is on-airport and we skip the counter. Our crew is 2 teens and 2 adults, so we're pretty efficient in moving through the airport falderal. I'm thinking I'll choose the 6:00-7:00 pickup time frame. What happens if the flight is delayed and I can't get there by 7:00? I poked around on their site and 6:00 - 7:00 is the latest pickup available for this Sunday, but it is also Easter, so I'm wondering if they normally have a 7:00 - 8:00 slot on regular Sundays. What are your thoughts on my timing?

And @lvdis - I used the zip code for our resort to plug in on the Walmart site and let it choose the closest Walmart with pickup to us (we're staying at Bonnet Creek and the closest one shows as 2855 N Old Lake Wilson Rd, Kissimmee) for whatever that's worth

From what I see on Google Maps, the new Walmart on Old Lake Wilson Road would be close and they do have pick-up. I am not a fan of the one on Hwy 27. I am very anxious and excited to try the new one this year too.

Our Walmart local lets you pick up any time after your time slot until the last pickup time. They will even let you pick up next day, although we have never done this. It's also possible to pick up a little early as they are required to have orders ready 45 min before the time slot opens. Not sure about Easter Sunday, but our pick up is scheduled one day next week at the Old Lake Wilson Road location for 7-8 pm.

And so, wow, just to let you guys know...I was poking around yesterday to look at pickup times for the Old Lake Wilson location and saw availability for Saturday and Sunday of this week. I looked again just now and there is now no availability for tomorrow and only one time slot open for Sunday. So it looks like this is really popular! Good to know for planning. I think we'll want to be sure to schedule a good few days ahead of time rather than wait until the day or two before, especially if we're planning a pickup on a weekend.

Thanks for sharing that info!! I never thought about pickup dates/times being limited. It makes sense, so I don't know what I was thinking. I better re-think this and plan accordingly. My original plan was to make the list up while I was on the plane and submit it after we land for a pickup within an hour or two. I am not going until August but I am anxious to hear from more people who have used the pickup service. I guess it has become pretty popular !! Looks like I am going to start a new thread to ask specifically of experiences at the new Walmart on Old Lake Wilson Road. That will be the closest one to where we are staying.
