I use an accordion thingy too; one I had years ago had pre-made labels, and I've stuck with the same sort of categorizing for years.
We got home late last night, but I had an envie ready to go out today; I will be going through the 4 inserts I got this morning, and sending some more.
We had some exciting budget-minded events on our trip this weekend. First, at the Alamo, we were "upgraded" from an economy car to a Camry (the guy said it's the "super manager special, just don't tell my boss" baloney, but whatever). Then, at the zoo in Wilmington there were people giving out free bottled water and tattoos for the kids. They were opening a new church and giving people "invitations" but they weren't pushy at all. We were happy for the cold water in the 90 +heat & humidity. Then, when we were getting our admission to the zoo, we got in FREE with our Zoo New England membership! It was supposed to be 50%!
I also found postcards for 25 cents!
Lastly, at our hotel, we were able to save the parking charge by parking on the street.
But wait, there's more!
At the Philly zoo, we saved on the $12 parking by parking on the street again, right across from the overflow zoo parking lot, so we didn't have to walk any further. We bought waters from a guy on the street, and then on the way back, the $1 bottles became 2 for $1 so I bought some more. It was really hot this weekend!
Unfortunately, on the way home, we were delayed about a half hour trying to leave the airport but all in all it was a fun weekend!
! I havent been on dis at all because last month i came on here and my computer turned black screen and stopped working all together. But hopefully this new computer works better. The expired coupons have meant so much to me and the other military and spouses here in guam. It really helps us to save money for both the crazy electricity and plane tickets which start out at $1500 to get home to the states. You guys really have been amazing angels to us here. I truly appreciate all of you guys and your taking the time and money to send them! Dis is an amazing family to have especially from afar...haha i even see people here in lime green tee shirts and i think about asking them if they know disboards but i dont think most people here do
