Grocery/Manufacturer Coupon Train

DH and I went out for our first big couponing trip last night and saved 65% of our bill at Walgreens! :cool1: It was so exciting! We spent a little over $70 and saved $120! That's it - I'm addicted to coupons!

I live in Orlando, does anyone know of any supermarkets that double coupons around here?

Thanks in advance!

-M

Thank you!! We had a blast in miami! Took the little one to the zoo and visted lots of family! :flower3:

:cool2: oooh, I'm jealous! Miami, now that is my kind of place!!! Warm, beaches, palm trees, hot bods. :rotfl: I'd like to go to Miami over Christmas break one time because it would get us out of the cold dreary winter here.

Hi need some help from you all.... I just went to our local grocery store this morning.. handed over a bunch of coupons at the end of the transaction - and total came out to about what I expected so went on my merry way. Welll I came home and did a detailed inspection of my receipt and there were definitely missing coupons/incorrectly entered stuff. In the long run it is not that much $$.... but I am frustrated.

What do you all normally do? Do you pay super attention as everything is entered? (With 2 kids normally in tow and usually fed up with shopping at this point - my attention is often distracted.) Can you go back - but they have my coupons now so it seems like there would be no resolve?

Thanks for the help!

I don't have an answer for you. My grocery receipts only show the coupon discount, not what it went to. So if that happened to me, I wouldn't be able correct it unless I actually so the transaction done wrong.

I also have a question concerning Kroger coupons. I know that I receive Kroger coupons that are tailored specifically for me, but regarding the coupons that come in the cooking booklets, are they for anyone or just for the person that they are mailed to?

Got 2 envies in the mail today!!!:cool1:

This is so frustrating to me too. It's hard to watch the cashier to make sure items are 1) being rung at the right price 2) trying to either bag your own groceries while watching the prices zipping by or loading the bags into the cart & 3) watching kids. It's really hard to know if everything has been rung right with a large grocery shop. :confused3 What do you do? I guess I would go back to the customer service and tell them and see if they will make any adjustments. I don't know. :sad2:

Rite Aid has recently changed their coupon policy and unfortunately it now isn't as good. Check out hip2save.com for the new changes or you should be able to go directly to the Rite Aid website.

Got 2 envies ready to go out tomorrow to Stephanie! Just gotta remember to get the darn stamps! :thumbsup2

Finally got them mailed out to you on Wednesday. Been a CRAZY week topped off with a flat tire on Tuesday.:sad2: but it's finally in the mail!!:woohoo:

I have 4happybogles and just wanted to let you know that I sent your envelope. It's in a priority mail envelope so it should be easily recognizable!

I got it out a couple of days late as I had to run to the post office to deliver it and with all the tornado watches and warnings and touch downs we have had over the last few days I wasn't about to walk to the post office in it!

I look forward to receiving my first envelope from vegasnative! And then from my new buddy jenniferreich

My DH had today off work so I went to CVS and bought some of the items I had coupons for and picked up a couple of bubble envelopes and I was wondering if that's what the rest of you use to mail yours?

Check your receipt before you leave the store. Also I make a list of number of coupons and denominations. EX: 5 1.00, 3 .25 etc. That has helped me.

I had this problem at Target and I just went to customer service and said I had 14 coupons but only 11 were scanned. The cashier went and pulled them from register and were sorted them out so I could get my money. It took a few minutes but I thought it was worth it.

I'm going to put this here and see if someone can offer some advice.

I cut and pasted from the Facebook page of the store where I put it originally. Am I wrong? I don't think I am!

I went in on 5/21 and they had Gillette shaving cream marked at $1.35 and Gillette Mach 3 disposable razors marked down to $3.35. I bought the last 2 razors and 6 cans of the shaving cream. I had coupons for .55c off the shaving cream and one coupon for $4.00 off 2 razors. Well today I noticed that the items had rung up at full price...$2.30 each for the shaving cream and $7.19 each for the razors. I went in today to get the difference back and got nothing but frustrated!

SHAVING CREAM

$2.30-.55c=$1.75 What I paid
$1.35-.55c=.80c What I should've paid
A difference of .95c per can

...They want to take the price I paid after the coupon and subtract from that what I should've paid before the coupon and give me the difference between those two.

$1.75-$1.35=.40c

So I lose .55c per can

.95cx6=$5.70 Difference I should get back
.40cx6=$2.40 What they want to give me back

RAZORS

$7.19+$7.19=14.38-$4.00=$10.38 What I paid
$3.35+$3.35=$6.70-$4.00=$2.70 What I should've paid
A difference of $7.68

Again they want to take the price I paid after the coupon and subtract from that what I should've paid before the coupon and give me the difference between those two.
So it will look like this...

$10.38-$6.70=$3.68

So I lose $4.00

$7.68 Difference I should get back
$3.68 What they want to give me back

I think I should get back a total of $13.38
They only want to give me back $6.08
Which would short me $7.30
