Okay I sent 4 envies to luckygirl 535 on Tuesday. Some of my envies got sent back to me due to postage. I used the automated weight machine, have anyone had problems with this machine?? I received from tapplebapple last week!

I had the same problem. The one I sent got returned because it said not enough postage, even though the machine was at the post office. Dumb thing. Remailing today tho. Sorry.

A couple of things could have happened. Your envies were either more than 1/4" thick and/or they are not flexible enough and/or you didn't put tape over the brad on the back if mailing a manilla envie. The thickness and stiffness req extra postage, and if you don't put tape on the back of envie over the brad the USPS has to "hand process" the envie which is .20 more.

I'm actually headed out the door soon too to take my mom out to lunch for Mother's Day. With are families getting larger and more people being brought into the equation, we decided to start a new tradition and go out to lunch/brunch the day before. We're starting as Girl's Only since there is only six of us (mom, two daughters, two granddaughters) but we may include the guys on down the road once the grandchildren get married.
