What kind of stuff do you all get delivered?

I finally have a villa on an upcoming trip to make use of the full kitchen but I’m so used to just getting coffee, cream, fruit and yogurt & maybe some snacks, that I’m not sure what else to get, what is easy to make with the tools they give you?
No spices or other things to really “make dinner”, so I was thinking of just adding bacon and eggs to my grocery list to expand on breakfast, but I’m curious what might be a good thing for lunch or dinner? (or anything else)

Ingredients for spaghetti dinner and a bagged salad. I like to get snacks for my kids too; we always get some good snacks for the villa, and a snack a day for the parks (we'll often buy lunch or dinner there, and perhaps a second snack there but it's nice to have snacks while in line, etc). Apples or little oranges. Brita filter for my Brita. Breakfast fixings (usually cereal for the kids/spouse, and something I can toast for me). Butter. I bring my own coffee, but would order it if I didn't.

Get precooked bacon as it is a real timesaver and less messy! We like eggs, bacon and cheese on an english muffin which works for any meal. Don't forget butter. I try to get items I can use for different (easy) recipes. Bacon and cheese can go on a green salad. Order extra cheese and brioche bread and make grilled cheese/bacon sandwiches. A small jar of pizza sauce and you can bake "pizza" on brioche bread. My goal is to buy as few products as possible.

I pack some foil pieces, a close to empty roll of plastic wrap and a few zip bags. You can pick up small salt and pepper packets to bring. A couple clothespins will work to seal up snack bags.

Grocery prices are so high that we plan to eat out at QS for most of our 9 night BWV stay. We will order basics and water and a few items I listed above. It is nice to have something in the fridge if it rains or we just don't feel like going out.

Have fun! :tink:

Great list and ideas!!
Definitely will have some snacks and a case of water,
English muffins, butter and bag salad sound like winners for me.

Simple things- tacos, spaghetti, breakfast for dinner
Tacos would be great, but I feel like it’s just too many things to buy… but I like breakfast for dinner for sure!!

I forgot: the salt and pepper are critical. So I have tiny shakers intended for camping that I bring with me.

The 5 gallon water blocks mentioned above sound easier than bringing my Brita, and also don’t create as much waste as all the small bottles (I don’t like single use plastic when it can be avoided).

We also order milk for the kids. Forgot to mention.

Some repeats from above, but we order similarly every time:
Chips, pretzels (for room and by the pool), dip, Dasani water (can't stand Zephyr Hills), cereal, fruit, eggs, Pam spray for cooking, small bottle of oil (both of these go into the Owner's locker if not emptied), English muffins, cheese, beer, crackers, butter (or similar spread), hummus, shredded cheese, salsa, tortilla chips (easy to make nachos), and then specific to PUBLIX: carrot sticks (they don't use baby carrots) and key lime pie.

We add things to the order depending on our mood and who is traveling with us. Often we'll get things for pasta one night or a simple Mexican meal like tacos or burritos. We get individual water bottles (I don't like the single use bottles, but difficult to avoid in WDW) and the larger spouted bottle for the fridge. Often have to get distilled water for family as well.

We have also ordered wine, liquor and mixers to be delivered via Instacart, but only occasionally. Beer tends to be the alcohol we'll get down there.

The 5 gallon water blocks, cereal, dairy style beverage of preference, snacks for the kids (fruit, goldfish, etc), tea, Gatorade.
Love the idea of the water block, but we’re only 4 nights then transfer and not sure I want to transfer a block. (or make them do it. lol)

Definitely add Salt, and Pepper. I have a small bottle of half & half (or heavy cream) for coffee, but if we added cereal I’d have to add something else.

I’ll add Cheese and Hummus for sure!!

I just grab salt and pepper packets from the QS locations!

Water, beer, bacon, eggs, american, foil (to cook bacon in the oven and wrap BEC’s to take to park- use the bacon grease to cook the eggs) yogurt, fruit (we bring bagels from home and get s&p, ketchup and hot sauce packets from quick service locations). Hummus, baby carrots and pretzels for pool side snacks. Always something chocolately for those late night cravings. Rotisserie chickens and a bag of salad can be dinner (add some instant rice or premade mashed potatoes if you want) lunch or wrap in a tortilla to go. I always bring some quart size zipper bags from home because you never know.
Have fun and remember, you need less than you think.
