We'll be staying at Winsor Hills in 5 days and wondering what we need to buy for for our 12 day stay.

If you have a list to share, I'd highly appreciate it!!! We'll be doing breakfast everyday there, as well as we are thinking about bringing in some simple lunch (like sandwitches) for kids for most of days.

Just think about what type of food you will need or want first. And I do mean everything to make the stuff with. Then I made a list of stuff I would need such as cleaning supplies/paper goods. All condiments that you will need. Snack foods and drinks. The things I know I used off the top of my head are:
paper plates and paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, handi wipes, clorox cleanup wipes, laundry soap and fabric softener, dryer sheets, salt, pepper, butter, mayo, mustard, ketchup, dishwasher soap. You will invariably get there and find that you need something though. I made the trip up to Target several times while we were there over our 10 day stay. Good luck.

we are minmalists when it comes to cooking on vacation, even in the rental house with a full kitchen....so our food list is a bit smaller...

Peanut butter
jelly
loaf of white bread
milk
OJ
fruit
ziplock bags
snack items that transport well (gold fish, cheezits, pretzels, cans of pringles, spray cheese and saltines)
frozen waffles
bagged salads
pre-cooked and seasoned shrimp
tons o bottled water

we pack pb&j some days for light lunches at park
we also pack a snack bag with small ziplocks of various snacks and fruit

we aren't much for breakfast in our group so before hitting the parks we have some fruit or toast or waffles (we prefer them with PB& J on them, thus no syrup on our shopping list)

either we grub on PB&J for lunch or snack most of the day away then either eat dinner in the parks or grab something at one of the many expensive or cheap restaurants offsite on the way to or from the rental house. (we aren't picky....we love everything from waffle house up to texas de brazil...point being we can and will pay 20-30$ for the entire check for 4, up to paying 40-50$ or more per person if the food, service and experience are worth it.)

at least once during our trip we do big salads with shrimp at the rental house as a meal. if the mood hits us and the rental house has a crock pot i might pick up some salsa, chicken, cheese and chips and have mexican chicken one evening waiting for us when we return from the parks. nothing too complicated. i cook daily at home when not on vacation. it would bum me immensely to cook daily on my vacation too...no matter how much money we could save.

These lists are really good. What I do is make out a spreadsheet that lists each day we will be away from home and what our plans are for the day. For example:
Monday MK day
Breakfast - eggs, sausage, toast
Lunch - at MK
Dinner - hamburgs, fries, salad

Then this gets posted on the fridge so everyone knows the plan and can stop asking what are we doing today, whats for supper. It also allows me to write out a very detailed shopping list so that I am sure to have enough food and all the ingredients needed. It also helps me to relax on vacation because I'm not trying to come up with meal ideas or wondering what I can make with the things we have available. It has also saved us tons of money and extra trips to the store.
