We are planning a trip to WDW in Dec and would like to have groceries delivered to our DVC. Is there an option other that Disney's option. There choices are very limited. Thanks so much for the info.

This will be the first time I use them, but it sounds good - I will post when we get back and let you know how it works.

I emailed them my list, and then I am supposed to call when we get checked in. They said they will deliver up till 9pm at night, or at 9 am the following morning.

Hopefully it will work well.

We've used We Go Shop several times now and we think they're great! We've never had a single problem with them.

Check out their website - www.wegoshop.com

We're using them again in December to deliver all kinds of things - diapers, milk, sandwhich stuff, cokes, bottled water, and lots more. We can't say enough good things about them.

Will they deliver to all resorts or just DVC?

Thansk I think that we will us them. Do you know where they shop.. how good are their prices.

From their web site, I gather that they will do any disney resort and resorts off property too. Looks really good.

How long in advance do you send them your list?

We will be trying them in January as well. I emailed and asked them if they would shop at the Super Wal mart and they said yes! Well worth the charge for not having to run out and navigate Orlando ourselves! We will have a car but going to the Wal Mart just seems so WRONG on vacation! They will deliver to any WDW resort or off site resort. Don't forget to mention the 1/2 off first time customer discount when you order, which gets your stuff delivered for $7.50 if it is uder $100 or $10 between $100-$200!

Thanks for the heads up! I've read their site and I don't remember seeing this.

I noticed that in their fine print it says that the 1/2 off delivery fee is ONLY for local residents - not for WDW resort guests. Has anyone been able to get the $7.50 fee when staying at WDW?

My bad- you are right it does say that. They must have just added ti because there was a thread about wegoshop a while back and they had used the discount at the resorts.

Yes, you get to choose the store they shop at for you. We usually choose the Wal-Mart Supercenter, since we are familiar with their selection and prices. They will deliver to any resort. You pick the time, but they ask that you allow 15 minutes on either side of your requested time. We usually send them our list a week or so before our arrival. The people that run this company in Orlando are so nice and professional. They're just the greatest! And it is correct that the first-time discount is only for residents, not resort delivery. However, we found their fee to be very reasonable! Do be sure, though, that you are very specific in your list - the brand, the size, etc.

For example, say

-1 small jar of Peter Pan creamy peanutbutter

Not just

-peanutbutter

That makes it easier for them, and avoids you being disappointed with what you get. As I said before, we've never had a single problem. We love them!

GEM- thanks for the review! I have been wanting to hear from someone that has used them. I also find the cost extremely resonable! Just the fact that we won't have to go to the store is worth twice that cost to us! I also was interested in knowing the time frame they allotted. I wasn't sure if it was a 3 hour window or what! Glad to hear it is within an hour-that sure is nice! We also plan on sending our list about a week before. Do they just give you your reciept and add the charge on to the total?

Yep. That's exactly what they do. We always just pay in cash when they deliver. I think they can take credit cards at the time of delivery also. Give them a try. I think you'll be really pleased.

looks too good to be true, how do they make money. If they are not marking up the prices, then someone is spending an hour shopping plus at least 1 hour of travel time for a measly 15 to 20 dollars. (Including spending gas money). Seems like a loosing proposition. Well, if you guys tell me it works then I'll try them.

There's no trick or anything. The amount you will pay is exactly what is on the receipt they give you plus the clearly stated fee. As I said, we've used them quite a few times and have never had any problems at all. We will be using them again for our trip in December. It's a great service!

I really want to give them a try because I get so stressed out at that Super Wal-Mart, but I love the prices!!!!
I will also help me from spending too much when I am there.
I am going to make a list using all of the brands and things I know they have before I go. This will help make things a lot easier for me for when I place my order.

We are using netgrocer.com. They will deliver right to your hotel and the prices are great if you buy the store brand.

the package came 2 days late - this was in 2001 I think -never really got a good answer as to why that happened. Just FYI -

Make sure you get a tracking number for the shipment. I could not find mine when I got to WDW so, I was kind of out of luck till it showed up.

We don't like Net Grocer because you can't get perishable items like milk, sandwhich meat, fruit, etc. With We Go Shop you can get anything you want.
