Grocery Delivery

Friends are renting points at BCV and will be taking the Mears Shuttle. Are there grocery stores that will deliver perishable and nonperishable items? (I think they'll need breakfast items, snacks, water, soda etc.) I am also going to suggest that they go with a limo and grocery stop or even rent an economy car for a day from the Dolphin to get these items (vs. buying from the gift shop).

I'd suggest the towncar - the cost will be similar to Mears and the grocery stop will save some $$ over buying at the resort store. They'll also get to the resort in a more timely/comfortable fashion. This would also be a lot better than renting a car to go the grocery.

FL Tours is a DIS sponsor and does a great job- we've used them several times for our transportation at Disney.

If you use your towncar grocery stop at Albertsons, which is full grocery store with reasonable prices; you can fax them your order ahead of time and they will have it all packed up and ready for you when you stop on your way from the airport.

We're using netgrocer.com for the second time next week. We are using FL Tours but we're not moving over to BWV until our third day on-site, so will just have the stuff delivered rather than carry it around with us.

There is a company I have is here on the DIS called WeGoShop.com. You pick the store, sent them your list and the deliver right to the room of the resort.

The only store that deliveries is Goodings which is one of the most expensive in the area.

I can vouch for wegoshop.com. We used them a few weeks ago to deliver to VWL. Very simple, and very pleasant to deal with.
