Grocery Delivery

Im considering having groceries delivered to the Grand Californian when we arrive. I’ve heard people say Vons, but when I put in the zip code it takes me to Pavilion. Is this a new change or do I have the wrong link?

Pavilions is owned by Vons. You should be fine. Another option people here use is Amazon Prime/Pantry/Fresh.

We are arriving this week and are using Amazon Prime for the first time. You can sign up for a free 30 day memebership which entitles you to free deliveries for the 30 days. They also have a promotion for your first order ( 10 off if you spend 50, and 25 off of you spend 100). We ordered our diapers , food, and even art stuff for kids on amazon prime so we got to 100 pretty easily.
So happy not to be lugging diapers/ pouches/snacks!

Depending on what type of wine you want, alcohol can be found at several stores at the intersection of Harbor and Katella (Walgreens, CVS, 7-11, A Mart, and a liquor store in the strip mall on Harbor across from the 7-11). It is likely that a general selection of wine can be found at these stores.

During our last visit to the parks we stayed at the DLH. I used Amazon Prime Now to order snacks, breakfast items, a case of water, wine, and beer. I opted for the one hour delivery window ($5, but 2 hour is free) since you have to meet the Prime Now driver to accept alcohol and we didn't want to waste too much time.

The nice thing about Amazon Prime Now is that they let you know when the driver is "on their way" to you. It gave us enough time to leave the hotel and meet the driver out in the front area where people are dropped off. I was able to see the driver pull in via the app, and I flagged him down to accept the order. Easy peasy.

If you're not an Amazon Prime member you can get a free trial membership. But if you don't go that route I've heard good things about Vons/Pavillions. I just prefer Amazon Prime Now due to the app tracking.

ETA: If you are browsing Prime Now beforehand (https://primenow.amazon.com), make sure to put in the Anaheim zip code. The Anaheim area does offer alcohol through Prime Now, but I know some regions do not.

It does not appear that you can order wine! Bummer.

That's in case no one is there to receive the delivery. They can't just leave alcohol somewhere, without an adult to actually sign for it.

Yep you can add to the cart beforehand -- I did that and ordered once we got our room. I just downloaded the app and put in 92802 as my zip.

My daughter in law order from Amazon to Disneyland hotel on Monday afternoon. She received a message from Amazon it was delivered but the front desk/bell desk knew nothing about it. Finally someone at the bell desk said it had no name on it so they had it returned. I wouldn't order before you have room number to give them.

If you're talking about Prime Now, you can start your order days or even weeks in advance. Your order will stay in the cart, except for any items that go out of stock before you submit the order. Make sure you check for missing items before you place the order.
