Grocery Delivery

I know I have read about how to have groceries brought to your room. I can't find where i read this and I am staying at AKL this friday 19th til 24th and would like to consider having a few groceries delivered. Does anyone know the names and numbers of the grocery delivery services that deliver to WDW resorts. I am going with my mom and DS(3). This will be his first visit. I am so excited. Thank you in advance for any help with this.

This is good to know...how close are the nearest grocery stores? I wonder if a taxi would be cheaper! LOL

I highly recomend garden grocer, they were right on time and had our order completely right!

I can't imagine a taxi would be cheaper. Round trip (or rather 2 one-ways, since you don't want to pay for waiting time) would have to be at least $20-$30 including tip. PLUS, you have to spend time riding to and from the store and shopping at the store. With Gooding's (standard) and Garden Grocer (by special arrangement), groceries are delivered to your resort's Bell Services rather than directly to your room. Bell Services will call you. If you're not in, they will store your grocery order for you, even keeping the cold stuff cold.

So unless you're the type who needs to physically shop for your own stuff, a delivery service would be cheaper AND more convenient and time-efficient.

Does anyone know how the delivery schedule works with gardengrocer? We land at 9:10PM and I don't know what time DME will get us to CS? I would like to have the groceries at CS so I can get the children something to eat just in case the food court is closed.

Call them , Great service and he can answer your ?? and set up a delivery, I know baggage will store your items for you at the resort,
