Grocery delivery to resort - recommendations?

We would like to order groceries for our Dec. 26th arrival. I looked at Garden Grocers but boy are they expensive! Any suggestions? We would like them delivered to Old Key West Resort....

I have reserved vacation grocery delivery through their Facebook page. It’s $25 they shop at publix and will deliver anything. A flat fee sits better with me than ridiculous prices on everything.
The reviews sound good and I like im supporting small biz.

Another vote for Instacart. Garden Grocers is WAY too expensive and I like that you can get products from Costco with Instacart. Look for sign up deals - in the summer we got free Instacart express for 30 days and just cancelled after our trip was over.

For grocery orders it is per order, as it is Bell Services that delivers it to the room. It is a delivery fee, so if you go to Bell Services and pick up the groceries and take them to your room yourself there is no $6 fee.

If you SHIP something to the hotel (eg from an online retailor like REI) that order gets delivered to the front desk and they charge $6 per package to receive the package.

We have been sticking with Garden Grocer for when we needed anything delivered… yes they are a bit pricey but they have always had what ever we needed and the service and timing has been excellent… so that in its self if worth something…. Although we have driven the last few trips and usually just stock up at grocery store before checking in

We used Dizzy Dolphin in the past and were generally happy. We indicated what store we wanted our groceries from, and they got the specific items we requested including booze.

My only minor beef with them is that they didn't provide us the actual receipt to show what they charged us was in keeping with the actual bill, although the final total seemed reasonable in the end.

We've used Amazon Prime Now a few times with success - you can sign up for a free trial right before your trip to get access.

I used Dizzy Dolphin for our last trip (2 orders due to split stay bracketing a cruise) and will use them again. Previously we had used Garden Grocer, but their prices are even higher.

To get an idea of reasonable pricing, I set up a spreadsheet and then priced out my order online at near to WDW Target, Walmart, and Publix stores, as well as Amazon and Instacart, as well as Disney's DVC grocery delivery service (for pricing idea of what it would cost to buy stuff at the resort). None had everything I wanted, but at least I knew what the "going" price was for things. When I got the quote from DDD, I then had a good idea of how much their markup was for things and overall and whether I found it reasonable for the service -- for us it was so we went with them.

I have to say the price differentials between the various stores and services was rather fascinating. I do recommend taking the time to at least do the comparison and price out one's order. The store websites are easy to use and make it easy. Also, FWIW, I priced a couple times, once months out and again closer to our trip - the prices for some things varied a fair bit, while others were quite stable. Stock availability also varied quite a bit with some stores but barely at all with others.

I just use instacart.com - and its been handy to have set up as part way through vaca we have realized we need something ! I find walmart has great prices, but just found out they don't deliver to AKL I will probably just use publix.
