Grocery Delivery to Cabin or Bell Services?

My first stay at Fort Wilderness is coming up in 2 days. For those who have ordered groceries and stayed in a cabin, is it possible to have the groceries delivered straight to your cabin door? Or is it more reliable and easier for the driver to just put a note in the delivery to drop off at Bell Services? I'm assuming Bell Services has a refrigerator, like all other resorts on property?

Sorry for the late reply (but for future visitors), the other resorts have a refrigerator at their Bell Services area just like the one at Fort Wilderness does. Deliveries do NOT go directly to the cabins.

Also (although I've never ordered groceries) I've read here that different delivery services have different rules about ordering things like alcohol. Some want to see an ID with the order, some you have to be present for delivery in person (so on and so forth). Thus I've read to make sure you are aware of any rules of that kind with your service provider. But if you're ordering a pound of hamburger and a head of lettuce, those are held at Bell Services for you to pick up.

It may depend on the driver. We stayed at the Fort last year in May and just got back from our May 2025 trip. Last year our delivery driver came to our cabin no problem. This year, we had multiple orders and some delivered to our cabin, others dropped at bell-services, and one asked me to meet at the front.

Well, I think the official policy is they're NOT SUPPOSED to deliver to the cabin or campsites. But like many (MANY) rules at the Fort, they are published but not often enforced (for fear of angry guest reviews - same as the other resort guests I suppose).

Technically, a grocery delivery driver (or a ride share [Uber/Lyft] driver) could get into trouble (them individually or their brand/company) because a driver has no liberty to decide what "his" rules are. And some people may try to break the rules in various ways but I'm advising as to what my understanding of the rules are. But Disney would have to catch them in the guest area and I.Don't.Care.About.That.Part.Since.I.Don't.Work.For.Bob.Iger.

So I guess the bottom line is to plan for the guest's worse case scenario which is to be at the Outpost for delivery (booze?) or at least have the delivery held by Bell/Guest Services at the Outpost.

PS - in a week's visit, I do 2 park days, a Disney Springs day, so I have time to drive off-campus and get the meat, produce, and grocery items I want and need. Down to the "that lettuce looks a little wilted, choose another".

We order groceries from WalMart (Old Lake Wilson Rd in Kissimmee store) to be delivered to the Fort at around the time we expect to arrive. Bell Services will store the order, they have refrigeration, and it's there waiting for us when we arrive at the Reception Outpost. Shuttle brings us, our luggage and food all at once to the cabin. Cast member/driver helps bring everything in. Remember to tip well.

The Shuttle operates from the Fort Wilderness entrance/check-in area for those guests who arrive from ride share carriers and the like. If your groceries are already delivered, @StAugustine , I'm sure there is no problem taking them along with your party to the cabin.

It has worked in reverse too in the past. When you are ready to leave WDW, arrange with the shuttle to get you to the Fort entrance building where you can connect with your departure ride.

By synching your grocery delivery with your resort arrival time, you can cover two objectives with one solution. Great strategy.

I ordered from Kroger on May 2nd for delivery on the 3rd, expecting the delivery to go to Bell services. Even though I specifically had the word cabins in my delivery address, the order was taken to wilderness Lodge One of the cast members ran over to get them for me.
