grocery delivery and cdm credit card

i heard that safeway won't allow a cdn credit card to be used for a delivery order. does anyone?

Von's delivers around disney (I think they are affilliated or owned by Safeway from what I remember).

We ordered with Vons and had delivery to GCH with an Australian credit card.

Maybe the problem is registering a Canadian address, that was a problem for us. We then registered using the GCH as our address and delivery address (can not remember if I put our Australian address as our billing address though) and it worked fine

Maybe we were just lucky, cause if Vons had called my CC company, they would have found out that my billing address was not, in fact, that of the Camelot hotel where we were staying. Basically pretend your blling address is the hotel address. We tried it, realizing that there was a possiblility of getting "caught" and not having our groceries delivered, so we had a backup plan that we didn't end up needing to use.

i emailed the and they were adamant that they did not accept cdn credit cards. i guess our money isnt good enough?!?!?!?! i will do what you suggested. no harm in trying. my husband took a cab to the grocery store the last time we went and i would like to avoid that this time. he got so caught up in the wine section he forgot a bunch of stuff! i love the wine in the food stores thing. next to the milk section. so funny!

Worked fine with a German card and German billing address, no problem at all.
