Hi all. I found out on Monday that I have a thickening on the wall of my uterus. So I have to have a D & C and then they will send the tissue to be examined and check for several things, one being cancer. The BiG C word is scary, but I guess they have to prepare you for all possibilities. I was wondering if anyone has ever had a D&C. What should I expect? How many days will it take to recover? Feel free to PM me. Trying to stay positive!!

Omg, I'm so sorry to hear this. Please do not worry about sending me coupons during this time. You need to take care of yourself first. I used to work in a surgery center, and we did them every day. The only thing I know is it is a "day" surgery, so that typically means recovery is fairly quick. Please keep us posted on things. When are you going in for the D & C?

I only got one today but I will keep my eyes open for another one - thanks for letting me know.

It has been so great getting the extra coupons and I am really happy with all the money I am saving. I would say that most of my shopping bills are now cut almost in half and that is great since I don't have a job right now and money is very tight.

Yes we are still mailing on Monday. We do occasionally have down weeks, but this isn't one of them. On page 1 of the thread there is also a mailing schedule that you can refer to at any time.

I am meeting with my gyn on Wednesday to go over my history and ultrasound. Then I will find out when the surgery/procedure will be. I will keep you guys posted. Thanks for your concern!!
