Your envie will be going out late this week since things have just gotten crazy today. My daughter (4) just returned to school today and a boy pushed her off the top of the slide. We then spent the rest of the afternoon at the doctor's office. She has a broken arm and will be getting a cast tomorrow . I will try to get the coupons out as soon as I can. Sorry.

I would LOVE to see more posts on how much everyone is saving using coupons.

I think that's an awesome idea. I'd also love to see any great shopping scenarios for a great deal for that week at one of the nearly nationwide stores like Target, Walgreens, CVS.

How about we start with some goals for 2010? Of course we are talking money saving goals, or coupon related.

Oh darn, you mean my annual "I'm going to lose 20 lbs. this year" doesn't count?

Okay, back to the topic here..... My goals are to get my new coupons into my organizer each week rather than throwing them in one big envelope for way too long and letting them sit there until I realize I need some of them for shopping trips. Then I have to sort through the pile and try to find the ones I need right before I walk out the door. I also should get in the habit of taking my organizer with me when I shop. All too often when I come across unadvertised sale items or clearance items which I know I have coupons for the coupons are not with me and back at the house.

OH NO!! That's horrible! Your poor daughter! My daughter is 3 and last winter she hurt her arm and I took her to the ER thinking it might be a break (it ended up being what they a call a nurse maid's elbow) and I was so distraught. Hope she (and you) feel better soon!

Here is my coupon score of the week: DH loves Kashi cereal. At Target, the huge 25 oz box of Go Lean Crunch which is regularly $4.99 is on sale for $2.75. If you have the peelies from a few weeks ago that are $3 off of any two Kashi products, you can get them for $1.25 each!

I mailed out to LuLu today. Went to the automated PO machine in the lobby (PO wasn't open yet) and it told me I only needed 44c postage. I didn't think that could be right, so I put 2 stamps on. LOL Hope there aren't any problems.

I didn't get my envie sent out this week. I have had a horrible 2+ weeks. On the 20th by husband's sister passed away. That night my sister's husband had a massive heart attack ~ so we made a frantic trip to Portland to be with her. On the 27th he passed away and we spent 4 more days back in Portland for services. We got home and a day later my son ended up in the hospital in Seattle... that is where I am now, hoping to be home by Saturday or Sunday! I will get two envies or a box out to you next week... I promise.
Here's hoping for a better 2010....

I didn't get my envie sent out this week. I have had a horrible 2+ weeks. On the 20th by husband's sister passed away. That night my sister's husband had a massive heart attack ~ so we made a frantic trip to Portland to be with her. On the 27th he passed away and we spent 4 more days back in Portland for services. We got home and a day later my son ended up in the hospital in Seattle... that is where I am now, hoping to be home by Saturday or Sunday! I will get two envies or a box out to you next week... I promise.
Here's hoping for a better 2010....

Having raised two boys, I know how rough they can get. Hope your little girl mends quickly and won't be afraid to go to the top of the slide next time.

Tomorow I am mailing out my coupons and my RA SCRs and checking Target for 90% off ! Also see if any thing else on 75% anywhere ! Have to find time for cooking supperr and laundry too!! I plan on taking MORE time OFF this year ! I always end up with close to 4 weeks vacation left and a weeks pto my plan is a day off every month at least !Trouble is I take a day and work 4 - 8 hours extro the others to catch up!!!
