My goodness, I just cleaned out my coupons...WOW. Big envie of expired ones going out also.

Thanks it wil be good to get back to NORMAL !!!! I love Christmas but it is a lot of work!!!!

I totally agree. How about we start with some goals for 2010? Of course we are talking money saving goals, or coupon related.

I guess the thing I want to accomplish most is to stick to the grocery budget as much as possible, take my folder of coupons with me everywhere just in case I make an unexpected stop. I've always just left my coupons at home, taking only the ones I'll need, but often when I get to the store I see something on sale that I know I have a coupon for at home...that bums me out.

ughh...this happens to me alot-I only take the coupons on my list....
only to find some rockin deals on clearance or unadvertised sales...
& I've left the rest of my coupon collection at home...does me alot of good there

I got 5 inserts in today's paper--haven't clipped yet, but I'm hoping they're good ones! I'll be sending out tomorrow or Tues to LuLu.

I just used a $3 off 2 pantenes at Target. They had the huge bottle marked down to $4 each (from $5.xx) so I got $10.xx worth of shampoo and conditioner for $5.

Today at Walgreens thy had a walgeen c/o for Stride gum for 69c also I hd a$1 off 3 s got 3 packs for $1.07 !!!Also Palmolive is 99c there and there was a $1 off 2 making it 49c a bottle !!Also picked up Hersheys mini bars on clearance for 89c a bag !!Wahoey

I have to say my c/ostockpile is low with all the expired ones !!!So I am looking for my envie which is on its way !! Gwen I will have one out for you next week but may be a little later !!

Belated Happy New Years to everyone. Just got home at 3 AM last night from Florida after spending the holidays with my Mom. Lots of delays on the way home and bumpy flights but I'm here! What a change in weather.....it is yucky in Florida today but it had been so beautiful while I was there and then to land in 10 degree weather with white out snow conditions. *blech!8

Jen I had an envie here when I got home and just sorted it for Doreen. Thank you so much honey!

Doreen I mailed you a good sized one in yesterday's post from Florida. The stores did not have the usual great coupons out so I was pretty bummed. Must be they figure folks are spending anyways during the holidays! maybe next time. I have another envie going out to you tomorrow.

Hmmmm....Let's see, money saving or coupon related goals....

I guess I would say staying organized, especially by filing my coupons in my binder more often. I am really good about taking the whole binder with me when I go to the store, but I don't always have my coupons filed...A lot of the time I just have them stuck into an envelope inside my binder...and then I end up wasting time in the middle of the store searching for a coupon because I just know I have it, I don't find it, but then find it later after I get home
And I would also like to try and make less trips to the store. I have our local grocery store within a mile from my house so I use that as an excuse to just run down and grab that one thing I need...which I never end up coming home with just one thing I usually make a list ahead of time, but I want to try and make meal plans for the week so I'm not running every day to the store.
Anyway, wish me luck! And I look forward to reading everyone else's goals and maybe getting some ideas to go by!!

As for goals, my goal this year is to start taking a money envelope to the grocery store each week to limit my spending. I buy so much that isn't on my list!! I'd really like to take charge of my grocery spending.
