So sorry about your vacation and your a/c being broken when you returned home. I'm glad you got your coupons and as always I hope there are some you can use. I mailed three envies at the post foffice today, and will be putting another in the mail this afternoon or tomorrow.

Okay all you coupon experts, i need some help! I am new to your Coupon Train and just received and mailed my first envie !! I have a coupon organizer but it's not really a good one. Please tell me what you use or what you suggest please ! I, like everyone else, am very very busy and I need a good way of keeping track of what I have so that I can use these coupons. I often run in the grocery store to pick up a few things and always forget to use my coupons . Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I found a great organizer at Office Depot. It's a 13-pocket expanding file, like an accordian. But its not a real big one, it fits into my purse. I have the files labeled on how I know where the coupons should go. I have the following files, PETS, CEREAL, MEDS, CONDIMENTS, SNACKS (this is a broad range for me, as it includes yogurt, fruit roll ups, crackers...snacky stuff), CANNED GOODS, BOXED GOODS, FRESH FOODS, FROZEN FOODS, BEVERAGES, CLEANING/PAPER PRODS & TOILETRIES.

So as I clip the coupons, I file them right away. I usually do a weekly shop, so I write my list and then I go thru my file. If I have a coupon for something on my list I write a "C" next to that item, so I know I have a coupon for it while I'm at the store.

This week I'm a bit under the weather, and didn't feel like doing a big shop, so I just went to the store about an hour ago to get stuff for dinner and a few other things we needed. But I did the same thing, wrote my list out, grabbed my coupons, wrote "C" on my list where it applies and off I went.

Sometimes my local grocery store does a 3-day sale or a 13-hour sale, so having the coupons organized I can see what is on sale, get the coupons and go to the store for just those items.

Really its about finding a system that works best for you.

I made my own organizer using a hard plastic index card box (4x6 size). I set up my own dividers using index cards with labels that work for me. I do a lot of CVS deals so I have divided sections just for deodorant and toothpaste. I also have sections for restaurant coupons, Target, etc. It is NOT purse friendly, but I don't mind lugging it along.

Hey everyone! You might already know this, but I just thought I would share a tip that I learned at my local PO yesterday. If you use the manila envelopes with the metal clasps, they will charge you an extra 20 cents because then the envie can't be put through the machine, it has to be done manually. If you take the clasp off, you're fine.

dislal - I got another envelope on Monday. It was full of ones I needed this week! The Easy Ups coupons are working great with the Rite Aid price for them. I can't pass up Easy Ups for $1.37!!!!!!!
