here was my "doh" moment of the day. I was sorting through my regular evnies, birthday envies and ones from my mom and one envi was full of expired coupons. Some were as old as Feb. I kept thinking that I knew some one would have caught those by now. (I know I let some go through from time to time). I finally looked at the front and it was one mom had sent me back in Jan and it as returned w/ insufficent postage so she had kept it until I saw her at Easter. LOL Most of them had expired.

Shirley, just so you know I tried to sort them out a bit ... the front are all ending by the 30th this month...most on the 30th...then a bit of the way through there's a little KFC booklet and after that they are all May and beyond coupons. I probably should get a better system but it might make things easier to know that.

Okay I must confess my funny Easter mishap.

Friday I hardboiled 12 eggs for DD and DS. I put the eggs in the carton and in the bottom of the Fridge to keep them separate from my other eggs. Saturday I grocery shop for the meals. DH helps me put things away and rearranges. Yes you guessed it. Moved my eggs. Saturday PM I take out the eggs and do the spin test to figure out which is hard boiled. We decorate - DS and DD crack an egg or two as they drop them. No biggie. Later we see yellow - you guessed it I picked the wrong eggs to decorate!

Oh well, it gave my Mom a good chuckle! I still have hard boiled eggs - they just aren't pretty!

My story: DD15 was making a carrot cake on Easter day, using a mix. She asked if she should use the colored eggs! LOL--I just laughed and asked her to think about it before decideing which eggs to use. She realized what I meant and we all had a good laugh about using hard boiled eggs to bake a cake.

Oh my! I got a HUGE one from my sender yesterday. Tons of coupons--thanks, ALong4TheRide. ALso, got one today from Kellie. Thank you all for sending me great coupons. I have sent 4 more out today and STILL have a bunch for Cobrabubbles next week. And today I saved $86 at the commissary, then another $14 at Target(plus got a $10 Target GC). I love coupons.

I think there are a few train members from MN here.

My mom and I are visiting Minneapolis on Friday-Monday. We are staying right next to the Mall of America. Is it easy to drive around? Should I rent a car or taxi around? I know there is a light rail. Should we take the light rail into the city and then taxi to our destination?

Anything I should definitely hit?

It's very easy to get around Minneapolis-And the light rail only goes far into downtown and you would have to walk or take a cab from the station. And if you are planning on the sculpture garden, then you would need a cab or to drive for sure as it is not near the light rail station.

The freeways are marked well and mapquest will get you where you want to go if you rent a car (which I recommend) as cabs can get expensive.

I'm sure you will have a great time! Enjoy our sping weather!
