I have not been around for a few days, and I apologize to everyone. I hope you all had a safe & fun New Years! We invited some friends over for dinner and games. Whenever they come over, they bring their 2 little dogs and a over night bag just in case they stay because they live about 45-minutes from us. Anyway, they ended up staying 3 nights!!!! It's fun though, so I'm not complaining.

Congratulations to the Road Trippers! Gardengalb4, rockeisfan, jen_in_nh, tngramma, mdrob214, alesia, sethsmom, magic mom, Resseda & rootskate. They all answered the first round correctly and are moving on today. I've been looking for little things to send this months winner. So far I have found a cute Tinkerbell bookmark that will be sent out to the winner of Road Trip. Good luck to them. I have stepped it up a bit with the round 2 questions, so if they are a bit grumpy this week, it's because of me.

Tomorrow is our last optional week as we round out the holidays. I'll send reminders towards the end of this week that we will be getting back to it on Monday, Jan. 12.

I have to say that the answers are not rolling in as fast as they did last week. Although I do have 2 people that have correctly submitted answers so far.

Hi Jan! I found a couple of your requests and they're in your regular envie which went on its merry way this morning. Did you see all of those coupons listed above in the inserts from yesterday's paper? If so, we had different inserts because many of those c/o's weren't in our flyers.

Whoever the 2 smart ones on the train are I just want you to know I am not above cheating if someone just happened to PM the answers to me.

I mailed out envelopes to few people today. One to Leeanne and some wish list envelopes. Actually I thought we were starting back this week and worked these up yesterday. No need to waste all that hard work.

Hi Jan - I'll trade you - I'm looking for the Atkins bars, Quaker oats, Quaker oat squares cereal, Jif and ob. From your list, I have the Starkist, Cascadian Farms, Barilla, Nestle, and Freschetta. I can't trade the Instant Oatmeal because we use that too!

We get some coupons in our Saturday paper (Detroit Free Press) and then the rest on Thursday in our local paper. MORE coupons on Thursday.

The Detroit Free Press has been "advertising" with a special supplement on how much you can save with coupons. MAYBE that is why we are getting so many coupons. Good thing too since it is not much of a "newspaper". I only buy for the coupons. They are also going to three days a week home delivery starting in the Spring. Hope that does not effect the coupons.

Hi everyone! Been awhile since I've been able to check in! DH got a new wireless router for Christmas and it's been nothing but a pain

Haven't had time to go back and read through since I was last on, but I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Years!

HI everyone. We are back from our vacation. We had a great time. The Disney Hilton Head Island resort was beautiful. The kids were swimming in the ocean...CRAZY!!!!!

I have tons of couponing to catch-up on.
