One of the Twin Cities meteorologists gave us a new label "Arctic Arena" because we were getting tired of "Icebox of the Nation" I guess. Yesterday the temp fell to -18 before climbing to -2 for our high. Today the high is predicted at one whole degree. 
Tonight it should fall to -17 again. However, there is an end in sight!!!! 
It should reach 28 by Sunday. Downright balmy, eh? 
Our two dogs give me that "Are you nuts?" look when I tell them it's time to go outside. But I guess I should be happy that at least the sun is shining brightly and my furnace is running. Poor Mn_Gal probably has it worse than us though because it's always warmer in the Cities than outstate where she is! How many days until spring???

Thank you all for your prayers for my son. We're home now, and his blood sugars are starting to get more stable. He's on insulin 4 times a day, but it doesn't really bother him. Definitely bothers me more to give him a shot than for him to get it.
