Groceries

You can get non-perishables sent to you from net grocer just have them send to the hotel to your attn with your check in date. Then all you have to stop for is milk, eggs, etc. (which aren't actually all that bad in the Disney stores once you figure in the convenience factor. Dh and I actually did the grocery stop on the way from the airport thing, but I had shipped the non-perishables. Since we had a very short list and divided it we were in and out in 10 minutes and ready to start vacation mode! :p

Does anyone have a list and website of grocery stores that deliver to OKW?

For non-perishables you can always ship items to the resort. On the lable include your check-in date and they'll hold them for you until you arrive.

We went to the Wal Mart Super Center in 192 when we were there 3 weeks ago. I was not happy and will try the Publix next time. I found the drive irritating with all the traffic and lights on 192, I found the store to be dirty, the prices not THAT great, and the layout to be downright AWFUL! (we needed groceries and health and beauty items and had to hike CLEAR ACROSS the place (which is HUGE) to locate everything. I would never go back there! WHy they dont keep things like sunblock, feminine products, cold medicines etc. near the groceries is beyond me.

I the end I also miscalculated the amount of baby food and formula I needed and had to buy it from the gift shop at BW for our last day--and MAN was that overpriced!! $3.25 for an 8oz can of ready to serve formula!! and over $1 for a jar of baby food (2nds). highway robbery!

The idea of shipping non perishable good down to our resort sounds like an excellant idea. The thought of not having to pack it all in our suitcases and make room is worth the extra charge of shipping. last time we went I packed a lot of non perishable food in our suitcases. It took up a lot of room so we ended up taking an additional suticase. That was a headache to my DH. He likes one suitcase tocarry himself anymore and look out. So with that in mind I have started a list here of non perishable food that are lightweight. Soup cans are heavy and will easily make the box I ship cost more. So in reality they are not worth it. Anyone with more ideas on non perishable items to ship that are light weight please add on.

Potatoe chips
beef jerky already in a sealed bag
