we are using are dvc for the first time at blt this november. question is on groceries when we order and if they get there before we do, where do they put them in our room or some place else?

They will keep them at the front desk for you and when you are in the room you call and have them brought up

Depends on who you ordered from. If you ordered from Disney, they will be in your room when you arrive or they will bring them to your room and put them away for you after you check in.

If you are not able to accept your food delivery it will be stored in a "cold" room. Frozen food is stored in a freezer. When you are ready you call bell services and ask for it to be delivered.

As Bill says, Disney delivers to your room.
If you use a grocery delivery service, they often deliver to Bell Services (not the front desk). All DVC resorts have huge fridge/freezers in the luggage storage area(not a "cold room"). Cold foods are stored in the fridge, frozen foods are stored in the freezer. When you call down Bell Services will deliver to your room - be sure to tip them appropriately.
I use wegoshop.com and schedule my delivery so I am in my Villa when it is delivered. They deliver it to me there and I go over the order with the shopper. Very easy.

As stated by other posters, Disney groceries will be in your room. We've used Garden Grocer for years and have never had a complaint. I always schedule our delivery for the time our flight is scheduled to land at MCO.....and always get a text from GG as we are walking to get on ME that our groceries have been delivered to Bell Services. Then, when we get to resort and check-in...I just ask at the front desk to have bell services bring up our groceries.....we put the groceries away/unpack within the first hour we're there and we're off to enjoy vacation!!
