Groceries

How does everyone get their groceries for their room? Do you order ahead of time? We will probably be using Tiffany, but we'll be arriving at the resort by 9:30 am so we won't have a refrigerator to store the cold stuff. Just wondering if we should order the food or just get it from the store at the resort. What's the best way in this situation?

I guess it would depend on how much cold stuff your buying. If it was me, I would buy one of those styrofoam coolers at the store to keep the stuff cold in. I would have Tiffany stop at the store on the way. Everything is way overpriced at the resorts. I've also read about using net grocer on this board. I guess you order on line and they bring it to your resort (but they don't deliver on weekends). You may want to do a search for netgrocer on this board. I know it has been discussed before.

If if was me I would definately have Tiffany stop on the way. Though I have never done this before.

Have Tiffany do the grocery stop, make sure you tell them when you reserve that you want to do this. Then when you bag, make the cold items and frozen in sepetate bags. DVC will store the food for you. They do have cold storage. Then go have a ball, when you get back and check in, your food will be cold and ready to unpack.

We use Tiffany Towncar Service also and they will be more than happy to make a grocery stop for you, I have them stop so I can pick up a few things for the room. Also, there isn't a problem for refrigerated items, if your room in not ready they will store everything for you.
