Groceries/Wine nearest WL?

We are taking DME to WL and then plan on using an Uber to grab some groceries and wine. What would be the nearest/quickest place to go for this? Side note - here in VT wine is sold at the grocery store, is it the same in FL?

Find WL on google maps and then do a "search nearby". You will find multiple locations. Yes, beer/wine is sold in the grocery stores.

Agree with @rwdavis2 that a google search is your best bet. Just be sure not to select the supermarket in the Crossroads.

Also be aware that you can buy some groceries and wine right at WL. Yes the prices will be higher that at a supermarket but you need to factor in the cost of the ride to/from the store as well.

You can also have groceries, including food and wine, delivered to your resort. I've never used either, but lots of visitors use either WeGoShop or Garden Grocer for delivery.

As I understand it, WeGoShop will shop anywhere you want (including Costco, Super Walmart, etc) and will buy whatever brands, flavors, sizes, etc you want. Garden Grocer has an online ordering menu that you choose from. From what I've heard, both services are good and reasonably priced.

There's a smallish Publix not far from the north entrance off of Reaves Rd. Not as cheap as WalMart, but not as outrageous as Disney gift shops.

I believe you're referring to Reams Rd. I've shopped in that Publix probably once a month (its near where we do hair/nails) and its got everything that a vacationer (or permanent resident) would need. When exiting WDW property, turn right on Reams and follow it about 2 miles to the Publix.

Yep, that's the one. I don't know why I couldn't get Reaves out of my mind.

I'd use a service instead of wasting your valuable "Disney" time grocery shopping. In the past we used Garden Grocer and last trip we used Dizzy Dolphin. Both did a great job. We got groceries, beer and wine. They deliver it right to Bell Services.
