Groceries through DVC Questions

I've used Garden Grocer in the past an was very pleased with their service. However, on our next trip we are getting the DDP so we will only need a few items. I looked over the order list on the DVC website and the choices seemed sufficient.

Are the groceries delivered to your room/fridge before you arrive? What if you request to change rooms upon check in? If they deliver after check in, must you be present in the room?

We have used the DVC service a few times for small amounts of items and it's always been in our room when we got there at arrival. We haven't used it for a few years now so I don't know if it's changed.

We've done garden grocer when we needed to order diapers, etc. We also have ordered grocery items off of the DVC Member site--the items are also available at the gift shop on the resort--at least at SSR and BWV. If you're not planning on getting much, you may just want to go pick it up yourself when you arrive and save the charge for delivery.

We only needed a few things so we just stopped in the store once we got onsite, and brought them back to the room.
