Groceries question

My parents are taking myself and my 2 kids to Universal in December and I've booked 2 regular rooms at RPR. My parents might want to have a suite instead so they can store and prep some food on their own. What are the options for grocery shopping? We don't want to rent a car.....Is there any place on site that sells some basics or is grocery delivery available?

Do the Suites even include a fridge and/or stove? Looks from the website description that the most offered in most of the suites (not including the hospitality suite) is basically an oversized pantry where you can store some dry goods like Soda. i'm sure someone more familiar with them can help.


Beyond that.... hotel gift shops often will have some basic basics, but you are usually overpaying and the selection is quite small. Your best bet would be to look into a grocery delivery service like Garden Grocer. Also, depending upon how you are getting to the hotel, some cabs or towncar services will include a stop at a nearby grocery store on the way for you to make a quick shopping run.

There is a super walmart not too far from the Universal resort either so a cab might be doable if you can't swing something beforehand.

We used gardengrocer.com for a grocery delivery service. They were great!

If you don't see what you want on their website, enter it in the comments (beer, wine and such)

Order early as they do fill up quickly.
