Groceries...HELP!

Hi,

Can any of you please give me information on faxing or emailing a grocery order and just stopping to pick it up??? I know that several stores do this. has anyone heard of Albertsons doing it? Any help, web address, etc...would be aprreciated.

yes we have called Albertson's and then faxed our list to them the day before putting on the list the date and approx time we would be arriving and then when we arrived we went to the customer service desk and they brought the groceries out all bagged and ready! paid at the CS desk and left - perfectly painless and easy. We used the one on S Orange ave - the link below can help you locate a store - if you go to the store locater tab and put in the zip code(we used 32830 WDW resort zip) it will give you store locations and just click on the one you want to use - you will then see address - phoneand fax#'s store hours etc. I always call prior to faxing and be specific if there are specific brands you want. Like skippy PB - but if any brand will do at the bottom of the list you can put substitute brands okay if not avaialable. If you do specify a brand and they don't have it they will put a like product into your order but when you go to get them they will tell you which items are not the specific brands you requested - which brand they put into your order and do you wish to keep this item.

No extra fee - we even tried to tip them but they said NO.

However Albertsons is a little more expensive than Winn-Dixie - but not much.

We went to WDW in early June and also faxed Albertsons a list-about $300 worth of groceries. It was wonderful! We walked in, went to Customer Service and they brought out our groceries bagged and ready to go! This was our first time doing groceries of this size and I will definitely use them again!!

There was no fee and we used the same location as listed above. If you join their preferred shopper's program you get a discount-we saved almost $30, even though most of our items were name brands! I used their online shopping store for Fort Worth Texas(Orlando doesn't have one), printed the list out and faxed it to them.

I will be using this service at home if possible! Grocery shopping is time consuming for me, because I have to go up and down each aisle! Will help with the impulse buys too!

We shopped at Albertson's for our 8 night stay 2 weeks ago. Very reasonable and I used my Preferred Card. Now that I know how much we consume during a week's stay, I will use the service on future trips.

I was thinking the same exact thing! We are big on impluse buys especially when on vacation and we are in the "anything goes mode", LOL!
