Groceries Delivered?

We are going to Disney, flying, in September. This will be our first week long trip with our daughter, who will turn four in October. Normally we pack some snacks in our suitcase, primarily junky breakfast options, and we would have a case of water delivered to our resort (this was pre kids!).

THis year we are staying at Coronado Springs, which has a charge for picking up packages, so shipping a case of water probably isn't necessarily a great deal anymore. But my daughter is also very small (former 27 week preemie who is perfectly healthy now) and getting her to eat can sometimes be a challenge, mostly from just being "too busy" to take the time to do it.

I'm debating doing a grocery order to be delivered, so that I can get some snacks and meal things that I know she will eat, and I can't fly with (yogurt, cottage cheese, milk, etc for her, Diet Mountain Dew for us). Can anyone comment on which company you like best and/or which one is the best value?

I liked Garden Grocer. Wide selection and easy to order online. Will deliver and leave with bell services. They do have a delivery fee but so does the competition. WeGoShop is another option and I have heard good things but if memory serves delivery fees were steeper.

We love garden grocer, and use them each time we go to WDW.

I order 2 cases of water (for my family of 5 over the summer, 7 nights), park snacks, and breakfast stuff.

Another vote for Garden Grocer, I've used them twice and have nothing but good things to say about them.

You can get a discount by booking early.

I forget where on their site I found this, but here's the info:
"Minimum Days Before Delivery Discount
15 days 5.00 % off sub-total
30 days 7.00 % off sub-total
60 days 10.00 % off sub-total "

I booked at something like 62 days out, and saved 10%. Not a huge savings, but better in my pocket than theirs :)

In the past we've booked at about 2 weeks out without any issues. (Of course, we don't go over Christmas or Spring Break... I imagine you would need a longer window for those peak times.)

Is it appropriate to tip in addition to the delivery fee?

We tipped in garden grocer when we placed the order abd then since we had do many cases if water bell services had to bring it to our room so we ripped bell services as well

I've used both Garden Grocer and WeGoShop, and preferred WeGoShop. She shops at multiple locations and stores so that you get good value for your dollar. The selection at Garden Grocer is more limited and the products are way more expensive. That being said, I found their service to be great as well.

When DD (8) was little and a very picky eater, we used Garden Grocer several times and were always happy with them. We did tip. Also, I would say order early to get the exact time you want it delivered, because the delivery times do fill up. To be sure I got it delivered right when we arrived, I tried to order a month in advance if I could remember to get it done!

Another vote for GG, the customer service is excellent and even with the delivery charges and tips you save on park prices, especially on water and breakfast goods.
