Groceries Delievery question...

If I went to wegoshop.com and placed an order... will it show up before or after I check in? Does it get placed somewhere and I have to come get the sacks and carry them to room, or does it "magically" appear in our refrigerator (fingers crossed ). I will be checking out of ASM on a Sunday... going to AK for the day and then arriving at OKW that afternoon. Can I arrange to have our groceries arrive before we get there or do we have to check-in first and then call for delivery?

Disney isn't going to let some stranger in your room just because they say they need to drop off groceries.

You really should go to www.wegoshop.com and read through the FAQ and send them an email.

The normal procedure is for you to pay when they deliver. Given the low charges I suspect some people may tip. Sounds like they'll arrange to deliver shortly after you check in.

We used wegoshop in January... twice. Also plan on using it in Jan 06. Obviously we are very pleased with their service.

The first time we had made arrangements with them letting them know our flights. I assume they must track these to make sure arrivals are on time, etc. Upon check-in I called to let her know our room number and she was actually in the middle of shopping for our order. Our groceries arrived approximately 1/2hr to 1hr later. We had some speciality (for Florida, not Nova Scotia) alcohol products on our list and she made a seperate stop to pick these up for us.

The second time, we called on a Sunday evening for delivery Monday afternoon. No problem.

We even got some great suggestions for restaurants at Disney, she is very nice.

Many of these service businesses are privately owned, so we always tip generously; that is part of our vacation. Employees that go above and beyond always appreciate the courtesy of a tip, too.
