Does the GCH have groceries available in their gift shop since it’s a DVC? Staying at DLH and trying to figure out some logistics.

Craftsman Grill has a very small selection of grocery items (coffee, milk, soda).
Ordering a delivery from a local supermarket (Vons) is likely a better solution. Bell Service will store the delivery (unsure if DLH if has refrigerators). Orders containing alcohol must be accepted directly by the the guest.

Thanks. I have a few allergies and tend to keep some safe items in the fridge for a quick breakfast or snack, but it’s a short trip and I’ll probably just throw some shelf stable snacks in my luggage.

Just realized I never followed up on this.

DLH had some chips and shelf stable snacks in the side shop off the lobby (not the main gift shop). I bought a family sized bag of cheetos. Way overpriced but an easy snack to keep in the room. GC had nothing.

Definitely order from a delivery service if you need anything other than chips/disney branded snacks/single serve bottles of soda.

As mentioned above, the small selection of grocery type items that DLR has are usually in the Craftsman Grill, not the gift shops. Did you check there?

I did and it was basically just what the DHL shop had.

It may have been that it was just low on inventory. I think the only difference was the Craftmans had some wrapped whole apples, banannas and cereal cups. Other than that it was bags of chips, sodas, and Disney nuts/crackers/candy snack type items.

You could place an order with Instacart. My DW will do this and it works well. We don't buy a lot of fancy foods, just sort of staples, like granola bars and bottled water, etc. Bell services will store perishables in cold storage too, I think? My DW is more of an expert than me. We paid to have Bell Services deliver and then tip the Bellman.
