Groceries at the Resorts

We're staying at the BWV in July and don't really want to spend time grocery shopping when we get ther on the 3rd. The DVC list of groceries available is sparse at best. Does anyone know where we can either get groceries delivered to our hotel from a local supermarket (Netgrocer is kind of expensive - $8 for a 12 pack of Coke!) or a supermarket that will shop for us allowing us to simply pick the groceries up?

We used www.wegoshop.com. They deliver to the resort. They will shop at whatever store you pick. You can order perishables and alcoholic beverages if you want them. They do charge a delivery fee but we thought it was well worth it. We picked a delivery time and she was very prompt and brought everything we wanted! We will definately use them again!

How did you determine your delivery time - we arrive early on Friday but have no idea when we will actually get our room. We have a full schedule of stuff we want to do and don't quite know when we would be around for a grocery delivery - how late is the service available?

Not sure how late they deliver. They have an email link on their site so you can ask them. We flew in at 2:00 and I scheduled the delivery at 4:00. Due to some check in issues, we were just getting to the room when she arrived with our order. You could always request an early morning delvery for the day after you arrive. From what I have read here, they are very willing to work with you.

You call them when you get there and have your room assignment. We found they were pretty quick. We stayed at the WL. As soon as we knew our room number we called and by the time we finished check in they were there waiting for us. Or you could just call as soon as you arrive at the hotel, but they tend to insist on a room number. Disney can take forever to check in, last stay at WL we waited over 50 minutes for check in, with no line in front or behind us. I can see why they insist on your room assignment first, they don't want to stand there waiting with you while you're being checked in. They really are prompt, at least that was our experience. We found you couldn't beat them for value. No more grocery stops for us!
