Groceries at HHI?

Is there a grocery store close to HHI Resort? Also, how about a store like Target or Walmart where we could get a couple of inexpensive boogie boards for the week?

Oh yes...there is a Walmart and a Target. The Walmart is much closer to the resort than Target. We usually shop at Pigley Wigley for food. I know that there is another food store, but my mind is blank right now.

There is plenty of shopping on the main road into town and where the resort is. By the way...you will love HH! It's one of our favorites. Have a wonderful time!

There is also a Food Lion just off Sea Pines Circle to the right. We tried them out this year. They weren't as busy as Piggly Wiggly and I thought they had a little better selection. It is a little further from the resort. At both Piggly Wiggly and Food Lion you can get a free shopper card that will save you some money - definitely worth the few minutes it takes to fill out the application.

Another vote for Piggly Wiggly. I just love saying that name. I know I'm goofy but I even have the first receipt from our first stay at HH (when we purchased) and shopped at Piggly Wiggly for the first time. I really like that store. It's so close to the resort and we can seem to get in and out fairly quickly.

There is a Super Wal Mart just off the interstate but not on the island. Ther is a regular WM on 278 on HHI about 4 miles or so from the resort. It's across from a Publix and near Sam's. Besides the Piggly Wiggly near the resort, there's another at Coligny Plaza. There's also another Publix on the NW corner of Sea Pines Circle and a Harris Teeter just across from that. Add to that the Food Lion and a Bi Lo on Pope Avenue. The new Publix at Sea Pines circle is my favorite with far better selection and prices than the Pig, IMO.
