Groceries at BWI

We will be staying at BWI the last 9 days of October. We will be traveling with our 2 toddler girls, 4yr and 2yrs. Needless to say I think that I will need some snacks, milk, cereal, ect to keep in the room. Plus I may need an extra pack of diapers by the 4th day. Sooooooo can anyone tell me where I can pick up these things on the Boardwalk? I wasnt sure if there was a place that had groceries. Thanks, Vanessa

The general store at the resort with have all the things you are looking for. I can't remember the name, but it is right on the boardwalk.

We've stayed there twice, and found it's fine for emergencies, but the selection is very limited. If you can stop at a grocery store ahead of time, you may have better luck with finding items you specifically want. If there is a specific diaper, etc... I'd call ahead of time to see if they carry them.

If you don't have a car, people on these boards seem to have a lot of good things to say about the shopping service, "Wegoshop".

Wegoshop??? How do I use that store, do they deliver???

I'm not sure about Wegoshop, but if you are a DVC member - you can fax them a list of groceries from the store, and they will put them in your room for you so when you get there, everything is all set!

Hi Venessa, yes there is a store to buy cereal, milk, and a limited number of frozen food. The store is quite large(sorry cannot remember the name) facing the BWI from the BW it ison your right side. We paid $4 1/2 gal of milk, $3.50 for 2L of sprite but we still found it cheaper than buying drinks when we were in our room.
