Mouseplanet is reporting:

Grizzly River Run will open for Guests at 9:30 a.m. daily through Monday, September 6.

This is really good news for hot days, especially considering that this ride's Fastpass machines are being used for World of Color ticket distribution.

For those who need a shower in the morning to wake up this is a nice option! :thumbsup2

Is this only for hotel guests? How do they keep the non hotel guests from grabbing fast passes for WOC early?

Logistically I don't see how they could limit it to hotel guests. That area is open for WOC FPs at 9:30 for everyone....

Thats right.... 9:00 for DLR Hotel guests and 9:30 for everyone... Makes sense that they open GRR since people are allowed up near the entrance anyway!

My guess is since all these people are in the area getting WoC FPs that they want something besides soarin for the family member to do while they wait on thier runner collecting thier FPs.

You know, I have still never been on this ride. I have never wanted to risk the chance at getting soaked. I can be a priss about my hair and makeup :rotfl:

Thanks for the update! Now if this gloomy weather would make way for some of our regular heat and sunshine. :sunny:

DD10, her friend, and I rode GRR on Tuesday about 2:30 p.m. The standby line was about 45 mins. We did single rider line and only waited about 10-15 mins. There were about 15 people in the SR line, which is the longest I have seen it this summer (when we've been there). It was warm enough to want to be able to get wet.

Our wish came true, especially for me! I got soaked on my left side so much that my shorts were still damp when we left about 10:30 p.m. But it sure felt good while we were waiting and watching CELEBRATE at 3:30. :goodvibes good thing I brought a sweater to wear once the sun set. :cloud9:

I too don't like to get my hair, or face, too wet. So I bring along a hat (baseball style) and wear that to keep my hair, especially my bangs, and my face dry.

Me too! We always ride it as the last thing before we take our afternoon break. :thumbsup2
