To me, it seems completely random. I'm sure it really has something to do with the weight distribution? The rafts spin a lot so there is really no lucky or unlucky seat. Though it seems like the seats closet to the openings get the wettest.

As far as I'm concerned, the only way to ride is when you're staying at the Grand Californian. Then it's just a hop, skip, and a jump back to your room to change.

I absolutely HATE being wet when I am not meant to be. Love to swim and am a total fish. But don't want to walk around in wet clothes. We traditionally visited the parks Jan- March so it wasn't a guarantee I'd dry off in the warm sun. I would avoid these rides like the plague and often send DH and DS without me.

So trips we stay at the Grand we will go a few times before going back to our hotel room so we can change. OR we will go get swim suits on and go on the ride of a number of times, then head to the pool.
