Grizzly River Run- How wet?

So wet that it will make Hurricane Katrina look like a light rain. So wet that you best be wearin' yer best rain gear right down to waterproof bvd's and socks. So wet that you will be envied by all of the ducks, geese and other water animals in the area, matter of fact the hippos that you can see while going on excursion upon the jungle cruise, when the park is closed will toddle on over to GRR and run amuk, amuk, amuk! Security have been informed by Disney to just look the other way when the hippos visit there because it makes them happy and the last thing that you want is an unhappy hippo, just take a look at the great hippo sit in of 68' it lasted two weeks before Disney would give in to all of their demands.
So wet that umbrellas are sold at the front of the que and rain ponchos are too. But it be a good idea to bring your own, because sometimes they sell out.
So wet that small children will look an awful like damp rodentas... not pleasant.
So wet that if your feet already might smell, well once wet they will stink to no end. :faint:
I know what I am talkin' about too for that happened to a friend of mine on our last trip, from now on she must take extra socks and plenty of baby powder.
So wet that there will be no point to having your hair done, because your up do will be down poured upon making your hair look like some kind of horror show.
So wet that you will have no need to take a bath that day because all that you will need is a bar of soap, I highly recommend Dove, don't forget the shampoo too. Taking a shower this way is a great step in conserving water at your hotel.
Just go on a hot day or when one has hot flashes especially both and one will be just fine!

~~ Enjoy! ~~

~~ I love you Phil and you will forever be with me! Forever my very best and most special friend! I love you to no end. ~~

In November my friend and I (near the entrance/exit holes) got dry-out-your-shoes-with-a-hairdryer wet. We were water magnets, though; we got pretty drenched on Splash Mountain as well, while our other friend stayed relatively dry. I changed into flip-flops for GRR (though I forgot to do that for Splash Mountain and ended up wringing out my socks!).

We have ponchos that we bring with us every time we go to the parks. I put one on, and one on my lap (unless it's really hot out and I know I'll have a chance to dry). That way it doesn't matter either way! :)

You are so funny. Full Moon after going on GBR dressed in white pants. The way you wrote your reply was well done. Let me take a moment and say "WELL DONE" LOL I am still :). Good Job.

Don't wear white pants... I did and got soaked. It was a full moon that night... at least for all those who walked behind me

Wet enough that we were glad we were staying at the Grand Californian and could go back to the room to change clothes. :thumbsup2

I understand the whole ride can be dialed down during colder months to provide a less wet experience. So I am not sure you can compare wet level in warm months to cold months.
