Holiday festivities begin the first Saturday of December.

I wouldn't be so sure this year. December 1 is a Sunday and the first Saturday is the 7th. I bet it will start the December 1 weekend, if not, they'll lose a whole week of December for holiday shows. I don't have any inside info, just my guess.
