Just over half way across the Atlantic, been a rough few days but much calmer (and warmer) today. Looking forward to arrival at Tenerife (never thought I would say that !!!) and dry land...

I always get seasick when i loose site of land so Tenerife would look just fine to me

Bit out on your geography there, as Tenerife is off the North African coast nearly due west of the border of Morocco and Western Sahara.

Hope it calms down a bit for you Mick

I really feel for you, i get sick just looking at the sea Puerto de la Cruz is a lovely mini-city to look around, just watch out for all the ladies trying to flog tablecloths etc. You will hear "lookie lookie" in your ears for weeks Hope things get better,

Yes, that's a more accurate location. But Tenerife is still a rock in the middle of the ocean

latinqt - I think you may have misunderstood the purpose of Mick's post. He was just checking in with his friends here in the UK to update us on his trip. I'm sure he's got a pretty good idea of where and what Tenerife is.
