Greetings From the 10/9 Magic

Hi all.

Well, it's our first full day on board. Beautiful or "excellent" does not do it justice. Just hearing the ship's horns as we pulled out of port sent chills down my spine. Weather is fantastic.

The is the first time in 2 months that the Magic will be in Key West according to Rachel at last nights show.

On to some of the questions....

The Captain for this cruise is Tom

We're going to Key West, Costa Maya, Cozumel and CC.

Servers: Romeo and Mizar with the infamous, John from Scotland, as our Head Server.

Raymond is out Stateroom Host. He's a sweetie.

Movie: Raising Helen, Brother Bear, Mr. 3000, Ladder 49, Princess Diaries, I can't remember the rest.

I need coffee. I hope some of the others on board post.

We watched you all sail out yesterday from Rusty's Restaurant.We had a fantastic day yesterday especially after we got to meet Shirley and Norm from the Perfect Gift.Great People!

I thought they only will how Disney flicks and I don't think Shark Tale was produced by Disney or a Disney owned subsidiary.

Congratulations on snagging an EXCELLENT head server! The best IMHO! Tell him The Becks say hello! And if he hasn't shown you his famous spoon trick, tell him you insist - and so do we since we get to see it at dinner EVERY night now!

Greetings from the Magic. Wow! Thanks for the well wishes.

We have left Key West and are on our way to Mexico. Pulling out of Key West is really an interesting thing to watch. If you are on any of the upcoming Western trips, watch from deck 10, starboard (right) by the bridge. The Captain has a navigation station with GPS. It is amazing to see this baby do a 360.

Weather today was super. In talking to a number of the KW shop folks, they had a number of hurricane scares, but never had any effects. We didn't do any of the Disney tours for KW. We've all been here before. We just walked around and had some pool time.

I've met Bingo love and his name is Que!

Themes..yesterday and today were casual. Monday is Formal Night, Tuesday is casual, Wednesday is Pirate or Caribbean night (not sure) Thursday is semi-formal and Friday is casual.

Not sure what the Castaway gift is. This is our first cruise. Although, if I am lucky with in Bingo Love, I will be rebooking!

Sorry, Sharks Tale is not playing. If it's not Disney, it does not exist on this ship. Same goes for Pepsi!

AS far as othe DIS'ers, I've met the Gales. Ann played BINGO with us this morning. I met ALLFOR POOH in the Deck 6 laundry room this morning. We share the same feeling for wrinkled cloths.

That is it for now. I need a cocktail!

Greeting from Costa Maya. We arrive over an hour ago. Weather is overcast and it looks like rain. I hope it clears up, we're heading to the beach.

Yesterday was a sea day. Perfect day, sunny and flat seas. We one of the RC ships was sailing along side of us. I spent a better part of the day at the pool. I also lost a BINGO again. Last night was Formal Night. We had dinner at Lumieres. Fanstasic, made all the better by our serving team. If you are traveling with younger kids, you have nothing to worry about. The guys really take care of the kids. We've come down to dinner with their drinks already on the table in lidded cups and crayons. They are especially doting on my neice. Last night was also the Golden Mickey's. Do not miss it!

Accoding to Capt Tom, it will be some time before Disney returns to GC. Dec or Jan at the earliest. Plan on Costa May for a Western port.

tksbasket, not sure if there is lobster night. I have not seen it on the menu yet.
