Just got here this morning from frozen Chicago! We spent the day at Seaworld since we have the year long passes, then stopped over at DTD. We picked up our APs at DTD and had awesome chocolate sundaes at Ghiardelli's! Seaword was fun too, we saw some good shows, did a few rides, but fairly crowded today so we cut out early. Now we're at Windsor Hills Resort and the kids are swimming in the pool while I'm on the laptop, simply awesome! Our BIL/SIL are staying in the townhome across the street from us too, so we're ordering pizza from Giordano's tonight and having a pizza / pool party!

Tomorrow AM we'll hit AK early, then MVMCP tomorrow night, so it will be a long day, hopefully everyone will go to bed early from being up so early today! hehe

It's gorgeous here, the weather is absolutely perfect too! 75-80 today, mid 60s at night, the pool is a toasty 80...ahh...

Thought I'd say hi to all my DIS friends, back to the pool now!
:wave2:

Hi George,
We got back on the 15th and had perfect weather while we were there. I wish we were back there now. It's 28F here in Nova Scotia.
Hope you have a great time while you're there, and don't eat too many cookies at the Christmas Party.

Hey George! One of my dreams is to get to a MVMCP. We have been blessed to be able to travel to MNSSHP, but I do love the thought of snow on Main St. Hope your holiday is excellent!

Wow we're tired this AM, my recommendation is do NOT try and do a theme park and MVMCP all in one day, kind of a big mistake! I have to say though, the Magic Kingdom at Christmastime is quite simply, magic! I have never seen the castle lit up and looking so absolutely gorgeous, it's really really special. We saw the Mickey's Twas the Night before Xmas show, the Castle Forecourt show, the Chrismas Parade, and the Christmas Wishes show. I think I'm in the mood for Xmas now! :) We also had hot chocolate and sugar cookies which are complimentary! Everyone is dressed up for Xmas and wishes you a Merry Christmas in true Disney hospitable style! I took some great pictures, I'll post them when I get home, don't have a camera cable here with me in Florida so it'll have to wait.

We also saw the Xmas Jungle Parade at AK, cool, but I just LOVE the MK at night, and to see it snowing on Main Street, just awesome!!

Oh..hehe...sitting in the pool soaking my aching legs while writing this, it's going to be 85 here today, sure beats 30 something at home in Chicago, the weather is just perfect, wish all of you from the DIS could be here too! :)

Cheers! And...Merry Christmas!

Hi George,

Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. We just got back last week after our first "business trip" and everything was all set up for christmas. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hearing about your MVMCP reminded us of our xmas trip last year.

Have a good 'un.

Yeah, George some of our group did a park in the morning and MVMCP at night and some of us didn't. Those of us that didn't were in better shape by 11pm than the others. Loved the castle also, make sure you go see the Osborne lights at MGM. It's less busy if you see them while everyone else is at Fantasmic. It snowed there also which was cool. ( well not cool cause it was 80F :rotfl: )

enjoy old friend...good to see you back older and wiser.
We don't get there until the 30th, so save some magic for us...Ted

So we're "stuck" here now!! hehe (Not such a bad thing!). They cancelled our flight home tonight due to a big storm hitting Chicago, so we can't make it home until Monday now, geee, shucks, the kids are really upset let me say! So am I! hehe

We spent the day at the WHR clubhouse pool swimming all day and playing ping pong, lots of fun! Just got back to the townhome, my DD is back in the pool again, little princess fishies I think, trying to be Ariel!

:santa:
