Green Mickey's

I understand about the paint chips from Home Depot. Now when I was there I thought I'de pick up a paint chip or two in alien green but alas a Dis'er must have beat me to them.

So now as an alternative do I use Sonic Boom or Gamma Sector Green?

It's Funny !
I went to one Home Depot & Picked Up About 15 Alien Greens, the other Home Depot near us was out of them.....
Does Home Depot actually think that many people want to paint their rooms Alien Green ??!!

My kids and I wore our green mickeys last Aug and didnt see ANYONE else with them I will try it again this year...

Sonic Boom is the alternate color of green.

I do have some paint chips (both Alien Green & Sonic Boom) if anyone is interested (I stocked up for my fellow DISers ). Send me a PM if you'd like me to mail some!

J ust went to one of my local Home Depots and they had a bunch of Alien Green Mickeys. Wondering if there are any Disers in my area or if they just had a whole bunch.

I find it funny that just this morning I was at hd picking up mickey paint chips, but not for this reason,, I read on one of the many disney boards (can't remember which one) about using them to decorate and make as buttons. I picked up alot of them but not one lime green one. guess I better go back for them. maybe you'll see me around wdw aug 15-21!

Here in Canada I think I might be the only one picking Alien Green for purposes other than decorating. When I grabbed a bunch and told my kids we were done and ready to leave my DS5 was so worried because I told him I didn't have to PAY for them. Even thought I explained that people used them for help when they decide to paint he couldn't understand why I had so many. I guess I didnt really have a good reason either so we high-tailed it outta there!

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I waltzed right into Home Depot and took a handful of Sonic Green (Alien green was mysteriously GONE! Weird?!) This stack was over an inch thick!!!!!! They're FREE! I got the other colors to do the count down chart for the days till our trip in Sept.!!! Then I thought, HEY! these puppies would make swell scrapbook embellishments or gift tags! HelpMeeee!!I'm in a downward theft spiral...and you're all accomplices!!! BTW, PM me if you want some of the booty! HEH HEH HEH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I grabbed a handful last week when we were at HD, my DH thought I was nuts. I put one in the back window of my car--so if you're in the NW suburbs of Chicago--honk if you see me!

I had to settle for the sonic boom too. My DH did not see me snag them but my kids are thinking I have lost it. I think they are getting into though because they now want to know what will we make with them.

I for one am proud of all these stories I hear, the sneaking to the paint dept at Home Depot, with no intentions of all of actually painting something!!

I snag a few every time I go to HD. I usually grab a few of the other colors also. I will make luggage tags out of them, but collecting my alien greens for our next trip.
