What kind of greens fees would we be looking at in April at HHI? I saw in our pamphlet we got at the front desk(at HHIDVC) last year that if you call the front desk they can get you a discount....how much is that for? Any other tips on getting discounts? We have the WDW DVC Golf Discount but I'm betting that won't do us any good at Harbour Town or Palmetto Dunes, lol. DH is a HUGE golf fan but will be playing at WDW....would like to play at HHI on the way home but if it will be outrageous we may skip it.

green fees will be pretty high in April much higher than say July or December...go in the afternoon if you can usually cheaper..i think you can play Palmetto Dunes at a reduced rate...Harbor town be prepared to fork at some cash...there are a lot of other courses that are cheaper than those especially if you go off island

If I remember correctly, the green fees/tee times that the front desk made for my DH were cheaper than what he got making the reservations himself before we left home. I don't remember how much. The front desk staff was very helpful. This was for either Sept or Oct.

We love HH. It is very quiet and relaxing!!

Sometimes the green fees thru the front desk are a little cheaper. If you call the resort, they'll gladly send you (or fax you) the list of all the courses with distance from the resort, rates at different times of year, difficulty, etc. I can't find our list at the moment, but I think most courses in April are around $80-$100, except Harbourtown and another new one in Sea Pines. DH is also a huge golf fan, and is on a mission to play every course at HHI. At about 2-3 rounds a trip, 8 down, many to go.

I know I'm off by a month, but here are the rates I've gotten for an upcoming trip:

Palmento Dunes - special package deal through their web site: play all three courses for $62 each person/per course. We are playing one each day.

Sea Pines - We are playing the Ocean course for $140 per person - again, via their web site.

Hope this helps. I think the Palmento Dunes rates are awesome!
